Aimlabs+: Valorant Training Center

As the official Valorant coaching and training partner, Aimlabs created a premium subscription tool that provides Valorant players training, stats, and analysis for players to improve at their favorite game.

Project duration: Oct-Dec 2022

Roles: UI / UX, branding, visual design

Approach

Throughout the designing process, one of the difficulties I encountered was achieving a sense of exclusivity and uniqueness and integrating the Valorant brand, while still maintaining a cohesive connection to the Aimlabs ecosystem.

My solution incorporated design elements, palettes, and styles from the Aimlabs.com experience. Valorant's colors were used sparingly, in places like the Playercard and navigation bar, to maintain brand presence. This allowed for a more seamless integration of the two experiences.

Role

I led the visual design on this project. I interpreted wireframes given from the design director, and developed a visual style that would not only inform this product, but future Aimlabs+ products. I worked closely with engineers to create the experience from my screens to the execution, undergoing design QAs throughout the process. As the project is still in beta, many some of these designs may change will be continuously updated as we add more features.

With an active subscription, an Aimlabs+ user will land on the "training" tab. Here, they can get personalized training recommendations based on their play data, have the opportunity to practice moments leading to their death in Valorant, and look at their in-depth stats on our related product, Valorant Stats Center.

Once the user clicks on a button from the "trends" or "run it back" sections, they will be able to edit any preferences before jumping into the custom-made task.
